Birdsville Farm is the Home of the Border Collies With the Natural Working Ability

We have a small cow/calf operation and also run about 75 sheep. Off the field our dogs are great companions. We only breed on occasion because we want to produce quality working dogs. We occasionally have pups and young started dogs. Time prevents us from trialing often but we manage to get away from the farm on rare occasionally.

Imp. Ettrick Pan is our senior working dog. He works cows or sheep with quiet authority. With out our dogs it would be difficult to move cattle or sheep, and Pan is our right hand man.

Pan's sire is is J. H. Wilson's Spot. Spot is a two times International Supreme Champion. Wilson has placed two half brothers to Pan third in the International. Glen in 1993 and Rob (a grandson of Dalziel's Wisp) in 1998). Pan's dam Tess is a daughter of Andrew Dickman's Rob. Rob is a son of Dryden Joe and has become a great sire in his own right. Pan's son's and daughter's have the same natural working ability of their sire.
